    What is Scale Content?

Scale Content uniformly scales the page content of a PDF by a percentage while keeping the page dimensions unchanged. It uses pdf-lib's scaleContent() and translateContent() to resize the content and center it within the original page bounds.

    How to Use Scale Content

    1. Upload your PDF file.
    2. Enter the scale percentage (default is 90% — content shrinks slightly with a margin).
    3. Click Scale. The tool scales all page content by the factor and re-centers it.
    4. Download the result as scaled.pdf.

    Why Use Scale Content?

Scaling content is useful for adding margins to tightly cropped documents, fitting content to a different page size without changing the page dimensions, or adjusting visual scale for presentation or printing purposes.

    Privacy & Security

Your files never leave your browser. The scaling happens entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to Racira's servers, no copies are stored in the cloud, and no file data is transmitted at any point.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What does the scale percentage mean?

100% means no change. Values below 100% shrink the content (90% = content is 90% of original, centered with 5% margins on each side). Values above 100% enlarge the content, which may cause it to extend beyond page boundaries.
