What is Add Initials?
Add Initials draws text initials at specified coordinates on a PDF page. It uses pdf-lib to render the initials text at 24pt at the position you choose, commonly used for marking document pages with reviewer or approver initials.
How to Use Add Initials
- Upload your PDF file.
- Enter your initials text and specify the page number, x and y coordinates.
- Click Add Initials. The tool draws your initials at the specified position.
- Download the result as
with-initials.pdf.
Why Use Add Initials?
Initials are commonly required in legal and business documents to confirm that each page has been reviewed. Rather than hand-writing initials on every page, this tool lets you place them consistently at the same position across all specified pages.

Your files never leave your browser. The initials are drawn entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to Racira's servers, no copies are stored in the cloud, and no file data is transmitted at any point.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add initials to every page at once?
The current implementation places initials on a single specified page. To initial every page, you would need to run the tool once per page. Multi-page initial placement is not yet supported.
