Solfeggio Frequency Generator
You Might Also Need
Solfeggio Frequency Generator produces a pure sine at one of nine named frequencies from the solfeggio set, from 174 hertz up to 963. Each file carries a short fade at both ends so a tone never clicks when it starts or loops.
What is Solfeggio Frequency Generator?
Pick a frequency from the list, choose a duration and a level, and generate the file. Every option is a pure sine at the chosen value, with nothing else added to the signal.
The nine frequencies and their labels:
- 174 hertz, labelled safety, and 285 hertz, labelled restoration, the two that are usually described as the extended set.
- 396 hertz for liberation and 417 hertz for change.
- 528 hertz for transformation, the frequency the separate 528 hertz tool is built around and the default here.
- 639 hertz for connection, 741 for expression, 852 for intuition and 963 for unity.
- Duration from one second to ten minutes, defaulting to sixty, and an amplitude slider from one to one hundred percent, defaulting to seventy.
The tone itself is a single trigonometric sine, so the output contains exactly one frequency and no harmonic content beyond it. That is the whole of the synthesis, and it is also why the tool can be trusted as a reference: a solfeggio frequency here means exactly the number on the list and nothing else, which is what makes the file usable for tuning an instrument or for measuring a playback path. That is deliberate and worth being clear about. A pure sine is the cleanest possible carrier for a listening session, and it is also what makes the file honest: any harmonic that appears when the tone is played back came from the playback system, not from the generator. The boundary fade is applied across fifty milliseconds at each end of the file, which is a small and easily overlooked detail that matters in practice. A sine that starts at an arbitrary point in its cycle begins with a step, and a step is a click; fading the first and last few tens of milliseconds to zero removes it entirely, so a file can be looped or played after another track without an audible join. The fade length is also short enough not to change the character of the tone for any practical duration.
What the tool does not do:
- The names attached to the frequencies are cultural labels rather than measured properties, and the tool makes no claim about them.
- Only the listed nine values are offered, with no free entry of an arbitrary frequency.
- The tone is constant in pitch and level, with no modulation, sweep or fading beyond the boundaries.
- There is no stereo width, since a single sine in one channel is identical to the same tone in both.
- A long file is a long steady tone, so a ten minute generation is ten minutes of the same sound.
- Amplitude is a linear percentage rather than a value in decibels.
Use it when a specific frequency from this set is what you want, whether for a listening session, a meditation practice, an instrument tuning reference at a specific pitch, or simply a comfortable tone to leave running. For an arbitrary frequency there is the sine wave generator, which accepts any value from a hundredth of a hertz upward, and for the two most requested frequencies in isolation there are dedicated tools.
How to use Solfeggio Frequency Generator
- Choose one of the nine frequencies from the list.
- Set the duration for the session you have in mind.
- Set the amplitude, then press generate to synthesise and encode the file.
- Play the preview and download the WAV; the fifty millisecond fades at each end make it safe to loop.
When to use Solfeggio Frequency Generator vs related tools
Solfeggio Frequency Generator is the quickest route to one of the named frequencies in the set, with a fade applied so the file behaves well when looped. 528 Hz Generator and 432 Hz Generator cover the two frequencies that are asked for most often, and Sine Wave Generator accepts any frequency at all if the value you need is not in the list. For a tone where the frequency moves rather than holds, Chirp Generator is the moving equivalent.
